The Changing Faces of Paris Hotels
There is always something new in Paris. Even the old is new. The Lutetia opening has been delayed. The iconic left bank hotel “should” be opening the end of June. It is truly a gem and will be the IN place to be seen on the oft bank
The Bel Ami on the left bank has just completed at grand renovation. The bright blue lobby is exciting and restful. Lots of space for relaxing and enjoying a drink. Bel Ami staff are so welcoming and the location is right in the middle of all the happenings on the left bank..Great small hotel.
The new Fauchon L’Hotel on Place Madeline is going to be the IN place to stay and eat. Fauchon, famous for food, now will have a hotel & restaurant . The 54 rooms are modern and striking..basic white with touches of black gold and pinks. Very bold and beautiful. All rooms face the street so Paris life is in full view. Windows are double glazed so rooms are quiet. The restaurant has large windows and large terrace plus an indoor garden room. It will be the “place to be seen”
The hotel is scheduled to open September 1 2018. More updates later.
Of course there is the Crillon & the Ritz..need I say more.
